Welcome to The Commercial Inn

The Commercial Inn, nestled in the heart of Girvan at 123 Dalrymple Street, is a standout local pub that blends authentic warmth with lively charm. Boasting a solid 4.3-star rating, this venue captures the true spirit of a community hub, where friendliness and excellent service come first.

Visitors repeatedly praise the welcoming atmosphere created by both staff and locals alike. Whether you're pulling up a stool for a perfectly poured pint of Guinness or joining in the energetic Tuesday karaoke sessions — which cater to all ages and offer free sandwiches — the Inn delivers a genuine and inclusive experience. The “sixties” themed nights and live sports screenings, like the passionate NRL State of Origin events, further enhance its appeal, making it not just a bar, but a dynamic gathering place.

The Commercial Inn is notably dog-friendly, inviting patrons to bring along their furry companions and enjoy a comfortable, relaxed environment. Despite being a cash town, guests appreciate the straightforward service and the vibrant social scene, where locals and visitors alike share laughs and good times.

While the overwhelming consensus highlights warmth and top-notch hospitality, some encounters remind you that every place has human moments; however, these are rare and do little to overshadow the Inn’s exemplary service and friendly vibe.

For anyone seeking a genuine slice of Girvan’s local culture – complete with lively entertainment, welcoming faces, and a strong community feel – The Commercial Inn stands as a must-visit establishment. It is a space where memories are made, pints are savored, and the local spirit shines bright.

Had a wonderful evening with "the sixties" night and karaoke! Sorry! .... Have to say last night didn't end nicely at all, the place deserves 5star for friendliness , service, and everything....BUT....there was a blonde haired girl wiping the table and was extremely rude to myself, and two of my female friends! We had every intention of vacating the premises when we had finished our drink which had just been served, we couldn't drink it all in one go, but this female pretended to squirt her disinfectant spray on my friends and was very verbally aggressively trying to move us out the pub. I am a 74yr old lady and my friends are "locals" and support the pub very well! We went to great bother to get our sixties costumes, and joined in with the karaoke and dancing, as not many people had turned out, I am just appalled that this girls behaviour and bad attitude sickened all of us, 7of us can't be wrong!
